An elevator pitch allows me to briefly state my professional and personal motivations in 30 seconds. However, I believe that while that approach is an effective tool in career fairs, there is more to one’s personality in real life. I strive to maintain the human connection in conversations and have had amazing conversations about my achievements, interests, experiences and passion in depth with recruiters, colleagues and alumni which led to the thought, how do I share my story virtually? Can I create a platform for my potential employer or anyone in my network to know me beyond the cover of my book? To keep that base covered, I decided to build a website for myself.
